Race for the Hungry Holiday 5K
December 5, 2015

Thank you to all of the runners who came out this morning to run the Race for the Hungry 5K.  It was a beautiful day for the race and many people reached their PR, which is so exciting to hear.  A big thank you to the volunteers MS YSA, National Jr. Honor Society, Endeavor Emergency Squad, Independent Fire Company, Santa, BT Police Dept., BT Recreation Dept., Jeremy Ferguson and the Burlington Twp Food Pantry board for their tremendous support in helping pull off a terrific race yet again.  The support of Mayor Carlin, members of town council, and Assemblyman Troy Singleton today was greatly appreciated.

Early race day packet pick up Friday, December 4th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Burlington Township Municipal Bldg, 851 Old York Rd. Registration will be open during this time too.

The Burlington Township Food Pantry is a charitable organization with a mission of no family that lives, works, or worships in Burlington Township should go hungry. As such, the BTFP depends on the generosity and contributions of volunteers and community members. The BTFP is able to operate due to the kindness and spirit of service of our community members.

To ensure the safety of our runners, dogs (unless a service dog), skateboards, and roller blades are not permitted in the race.  Runners with strollers should position themselves at the back of the starting line.

Please bring a donation of a non-perishable food item.

CHECK BACK TO THIS SITE IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER.  This event will be held rain or shine. Please refer to the Event Cancellation statement on the race brochure.
